Bio
I'm Christine Barton I am an American artist based in California. From an early age I have been very creative. I have taken art classes from elementary school to college level. I was accepted into an art school but then learned the term starving artist. So I got a degree in Administration of Justice instead. I have PTSD from childhood trauma from my parents and stepfather. So sometimes some my pieces show emotional inspiration from that. I also draw artistic inspiration from simple things that many overlook such as water, animals, and bugs.
Photography
Finding something remarkable in the everyday or overlooked is an ongoing project. I have plans for future photo projects. Currently I use my cellphone camera and photo editing software to create my photo art.
Painting
I love painting with big bold colors. I love to express myself with abstract art. I use a range of mediums including photo shop, acrylic, water color, alcohol inks, and mixed media.
Drawing
I draw using the medium of charcoal, black and grey pencil, illustration markers digital and mixed medium.
